Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data the QR Code Generator service (the "Service") collects, why, and how it's handled. The Service is operated by Coordinate Technology Ltd ("Coordinate Technology", "we", "us", or "our") and is available worldwide at encryptit.space.

1. What we collect

We never see or store your card details — those are handled directly by our payment processor, Paystack. We do not collect device, operating system, or browser information when your QR codes are scanned.

2. Cookies

We use a single httpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in. It isn't readable by page scripts and isn't used for advertising or cross-site tracking. We don't use third-party analytics or ad-tracking cookies.

3. How we use your data

• To operate the Service — generating QR codes, redirecting scans, and running your dashboard;
• To process payments and maintain your subscription status;
• To respond to support requests;
• To detect and prevent abuse (for example, QR codes used for phishing).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Who we share data with

We share the minimum necessary data with the service providers that run the Service on our behalf: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Paystack (payment processing), and Vercel (hosting and network geolocation used for scan analytics). Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy and security terms.

5. International users

The Service is available worldwide and your data may be processed in a country other than the one you live in. Wherever you're located — including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California — we apply the practices in this Policy to your data. If your local law gives you additional rights (such as the right to access, correct, or delete your data, or to object to certain processing), contact us using the details below and we'll act on your request.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and QR code data for as long as your account is open. If you delete a QR code, its scan history is deleted with it. If you close your account, we delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep payment records for accounting or legal purposes.

7. Security

Access to your data is protected by row-level database security tied to your account, and passwords are never stored in plain text. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we take reasonable technical measures to protect your information.

8. Children's privacy

The Service isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we'll remove it.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
